Tony is President of Performance Training Inc., a management development company which specializes in team and individual growth. Most recently, Anthony served as the Statewide Director of Management Programs in the Extension Division of the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. In this role, he directed all of the Management Program activities for the Extension Division. In addition to Cornell, Anthony teaches and consults at Yale University. In addition to his classroom activities at Yale, he has also coached a number of physicians, managers, and supervisors as well as facilitated group meetings to change the management culture. Anthony brings a wealth of business management and training experience to his workshop programs. He has a BS and an MBA in Management. The development of a well founded base began just after University when he joined the Burger King Corporations' Management Program. After nearly 10 years in total with Burger King, Anthony had progressed through management layers including upper positions such as Franchise District Manager (corporate liaison to franchise community) and Regional Training Director. All these management positions had direct operational and bottom line responsibility. The Burger King training experience was instrumental in expanding his repertoire in meeting unique management training needs, as well as organizing and developing training/learning organizations. Wanting to increase the range of industries of his Management Development Program, Anthony joined an American based consulting organization and headed up their UK and European training efforts. Later success generated by his implementation of process improvements and customer interaction techniques in a variety of industries led him to begin his own consulting firm, Performance Training. PTI focuses on workshops and coaching (from the CEO level to front line supervisors) that address Organizational and Management Development issues. The scope of client businesses range from banking and financial service companies to manufacturing. PTI draws much of its teaching staff from the industry practitioners. Anthony's management consulting experience, practical management experience with direct results responsibility, and a strong training background, create an excellent opportunity where experience and knowledge can be effectively combined for the benefit of individuals and organizations. |
